How Absorbest created structure, engagement, and results with 2c8 Apps.

When Torbjörn Jonsson joined Absorbest as CFO in April 2025, he found a company full of ideas, drive, and growth ambitions. Meetings were held, improvement proposals were discussed, and documents were written. However, there was a lack of an overview of the business processes, something that became apparent in the change work they were facing.

Absorbest’s high growth ambitions required that the intensive improvement work move from good intentions to a functioning and efficient everyday life – with the help of clear processes.

Change never starts in systems – it starts with people

Absorbest is a research-driven medtech company that supplies products to healthcare providers worldwide. They manufacture products for wound care, fluid management, and veterinary care, among other things, but are also involved in food logistics.

With extensive experience in various positions, businesses, and industries, Torbjörn Jonsson has learned that change always begins with people, not systems. With this as a starting point, the business began to be examined, and employees were involved in mapping their processes.

The journey with 2c8 Apps

To ensure that the processes reflected reality, Torbjörn began mapping them in close dialogue with those who actually worked in them. Workshops, discussions, and rounds were held within production to confirm how the day-to-day work was carried out.

Both new and experienced employees were involved in the work to incorporate multiple perspectives. The ERP system Monitor and the CRM system HubSpot were also included in the process maps, enabling holistic management of everything from sales and production to finance and customer care. In addition, automated reports were created that visualized KPIs in Monitor BI, which made follow-up much smoother.

Slowly but surely, the product “Our Everyday Life” emerged.

The process mapping carried out in 2c8 Apps was combined with leadership training and new meeting structures. The clarity of the processes meant that employees could actually see how their work contributed to the larger picture. The system came to be known as “Our Everyday Life.”
