Mora, Orsa and Älvdalen municipalities are using 2c8 Modeling Tool from 2conciliate Business Solutions to improve management, control and quality of their joint IS/IT operations.

Showing the way to greater organizational efficiency

“IS/IT is a lot more than just IT operations – that is why we want the three municipalities and their organizations to be involved and take part in the development and understanding of HOW organizational efficiency is created through IS/IT”, Leo Berndtson stresses. “With the help of 2c8 Modeling Tool we now have a clear map which shows the way as we go from being a technology supplier to a service supplier.”

By using organization modeling, it is possible to describe and present complex process flows and models in the organization – from an overall view to detail level.

“Since we did not have any documented processes from before, we were able to work together in workshops to create cohesion in the organization by modeling directly in the tool.”

Once process flows have been described, it is easier to identify and discuss problems, risks and opportunities – as well as discovering errors and shortcomings that need to be dealt with to optimize and structure the organization.
