System administration

This advanced course is aimed at those who have basic knowledge about 2c8 Modeling Tool and modeling, but wants to get more knowledge about the more advanced features in the tool. The course has a “hands-on” character and you will be using the tool during the course.

The purpose with this course is that you are going to learn how to create a repository configuration that supports you and your organizations specific adaption of 2c8 Modeling Tool and 2c8 Lite. You will also feel confident in the use of users and permissions, and version control.
After the course you will have knowledge about:

• Create and maintain restrictions in the tool (i.e. application profiles)
• Create and maintain set rules for modeling (i.e. repository configurations)
• Verify created models against a set of regulations and manage alternations
• Clean repository by verification
• Users, groups and permissions
• Move information between repositories
• Version control of repositories, models and objects
• Workflow settings
• Version control with workflow
• Publish approved versions and changes
• Workflow in 2c8 Lite (if 2c8 Lite is of interest)
• Import draft
