Information model

In the information model we group and collect the information needed in the processes – the information we manage in order to meet the requirements and needs of our interested parties.

The structure and relationships of the information

The process models show the activities that are performed to give expected results, and the resources needed. In order to describe the information that is being managed in the process and its structure, we use an information model. The information model takes no consideration of horizontal and vertical flows, but describes the information structure and correlation and makes up a requirement basis for IT.
